The First Day of School

I wasn't sure what to expect on my first day back after being away all summer, but so far, so GREAT! It has been wonderful seeing my colleagues, and although we've had meetings all day, somehow everyone is still in a great mood :) My room, which is often a disaster area when I return after summer break, was actually in good shape so I get to be even more productive than I thought this afternoon!

Speaking of...I have lots to do, including drafting my fall schedule, writing lesson plans, putting packets together for teachers, and burning CDs. Blogging is NOT on that list, so I'm going to cut this post short. Just wanted to say hi, and for those of you also experiencing your first day of school, hope yours is as enjoyable as mine!
